Front Row at the King's Game

Tuesday, May 27, 2014

Our bishop is pretty awesome. He owns season tickets to the Sacramento Kings, front row on the court, right next to the King's bench. He offered us his tickets on a night he was out of town. We got to pull into the parking lot in a VIP space, eat dinner free of charge before the game, got to go to the VIP lounge during halftime where the cheerleaders & owners peruse (actually, that was kind of creepy watching the cheerleaders work it with old men).

But my very favorite part was getting front row seats to the Jimmer show!

Look! I caught him greeting his wifey Whitney as she entered the Arena. They're pretty presh.

He was pretty interesting to watch. He had a lot of nervous energy: muttering to himself, biting his nails, fidgeting. He was definitely Mr. Congeniality as he high fived every guy when they came off the court. I wanted to tell him he didn't have to try so hard. He got some decent playing time this game, but poor guy was only like 1 for 6. You could see how frustrated he was.
