New York Day 4

Out we set for Day 3 of adventuring in NYC.

Brandon loved that this was the fire station from Ghostbusters

Breakfast at a little bakery

We set out for Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. This was the view of Manhattan from Ellis Island.

Can you even imagine all of the people who filtered through this amazing place?

We found my great grandma's name on the wall at Ellis Island, Martha Shultz

After the tour, we bummed around the Financial District and Wall Street. This is a new Oculus construction that will be part of the 9-11 Memorial. In fact, it's probably complete by now, given that I'm writing this 1 year and 3 months after our trip!

Wall Street

Lunch at Keste for Pizza, really yummy crust!

Then we had dessert at La Churreria...hot churros with chocolate dipping sauce

I love this subway entrance...reminds me of something out of Harry Potter

So much amazing architecture everywhere. It was overwhelming.

We made a stop at Century 21 and I bought a pair of Kate Spade sunglasses

One of the new subway stations, pretty impressive

Grand Central Station...probably my most favorite part of NY. It was so grand and so timeless. It reminded me of the scene from "The Untouchables".

We hit up the Shake Shack in the basement of Grand Central...but we only got a shake and fries. I think we missed out not getting a burger.

We made our way back to Jennifer's house. Isn't is so gorgeous? Here's the family room:

The entry way, behind that door are the actual elevator doors
